SEWER RATES
Minimum monthly charge $15.00 per month, which includes
2,000 gallons of water use. After first 2,000 gallons of
water use, the monthly rate is $1.25 per 1,000 gallons.
ELECTRIC RATES
Morrilton and most of Conway County are served by Entergy
Arkansas, an investor owned utility with its state operating
headquarters based in Little Rock, Arkansas. Entergy Arkansas'
rates have consistently ranked among the lowest third to
lowest quartile in the nation. Entergy has reduced rates
twice in 2002 for all classes of customers totaling a 10.9%

Electric Cooperatives
First Electric Cooperative Corporation is an electric distribution
cooperative, incorporated April 26, 1937 as the first electric
cooperative in Arkansas, under the direction of the Rural
Electrification Act as signed by President Franklin D. Roosevelt.
Today, First Electric Cooperative serves approximately 70,000
member accounts throughout parts of seventeen counties in
central and southeast Arkansas.
First Electric Cooperative owns and maintains over 9,700
miles of distribution power lines and 39 substations. First
Electric Cooperative is the largest distribution cooperative
in Arkansas and one of the 30 largest of the nation's 1,000
